Verlynda Slaughter-Thompson, Instructional Coach and Title I educator for 24 years. Ms. Thompson currently is a Title I District Academic Coach for Cobb County Schools. Before her current position, Ms. Thompson served as an instructional coach for the Mathematics, Fine Arts, and Health/ Physical Education Departments at Osborne High School for 10 years in Marietta, Georgia, taught high school mathematics for 13 years, and taught math at the college level. Ms. Thompson strengths are data driven decision making, building a team, leading difficult conversations, and integrating math standards in various content areas.
Ariane Stanley Tucker is an artist of 25 years and Visual Arts Educator of 7 years. She specializes in arts integration, community collaborative art, and arts engagement. Ms. Tucker is an advocate for arts education in marginalized communities early and often, and hopes to use the arts as a method to empower students to find and use their voice, problem-solve, and be generally successful in the challenges they face.
Sherrye Tillman, Lead Instructional Coach at Osborne High School. As an educator for 27 years I have served in the capacity as an English teacher and as an instructional coach supporting English, SPED, Science and Social Studies teams. I am an empowerment specialist and connector who lives to empower students and teachers in meaningful, memorable experiences.
