Alexis Cekita Ja’Nee Chambers is a first-year 5th grade teacher at Rosebud Elementary in Loganville, GA, transitioning from a successful career in the business HR field. Alexis holds two associate degrees—one in Office Management and the other in Business Administration—along with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Management with a focus on Human Resource Management. Currently, she is completing her final semester of the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program with a Computer Science endorsement. As a passionate advocate for education, Alexis is an active member of several professional organizations, including the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE), the Georgia Association of Educators (GAE), the Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE), and the Georgia Council of Teachers of English (GCTE). She is excited to bring her diverse background and commitment to student success into her new role as an educator.
