Erin Smith is a dedicated educator and Instructional Lead Teacher with a passion for culturally responsive pedagogy and student-centered learning. With extensive experience teaching 10th and 12th-grade language arts, Erin designs engaging lessons that integrate diverse perspectives and foster critical thinking. Currently pursuing an EdD, Erin’s research focuses on implementing culturally relevant texts to enhance student engagement and ownership of learning. In her free time, she enjoys exploring literature, reading archeological thrillers, napping, and hanging out with her husband, Travis and her dog, Luna.
