Teachers will participate in hands-on lessons that use mentor texts–famous works of art, visual media, songs, student and teacher-selected texts–to provide students with opportunities to master grammar concepts with low-stakes writing. Teachers will develop interwoven lessons that target the literacy analysis, writing, and grammar aspects of the revised Georgia ELA Standards.
